Many women fear the process of aging. They worry that after 40, everything starts going downhill and they’re considered “old.” Madrid-born Lorraine C. Ladish, a bilingual author, wants women to know that 50 is just the beginning. In the early ‘90s, she published “I Feel Fat” which was a personal analysis of eating disorders, but her most successful work was released by Harper Collins in both English and Spanish, called “ Your Best Age (Tu Mejor Edad).” At the age of 40, she had a child, and simultaneously her husband was offered a job across the continent. They got divorced years later, during the recession in 2008. Along with already having a toddler and not knowing anyone in their new home in Florida, Ladish had to start from scratch completely. She didn’t let herself feel defeated or overwhelmed – instead, she took it as an opportunity, and wanted other older women to feel the same. That’s the true message of “Your Best Age,” which is a work of empowerment for people everywhere. Read more about this celebrity at https://bit.ly/39SuJY6
