Our Social Bunch Gives To Others while Having Fun!

Our Social Bunch is an organization that is focused on supporting charitable causes, local business owners, and artisans. They host regular girl’s night out events that are fun and support our local community. Their motto is sip, shop, and support!

Angel Houston, founder of Our Social Bunch got her start when she and her husband moved to South Florida five years ago. They were involved in several non-profit groups, such as the

Ronald McDonald House. Angel wanted to create a large network of charitable organizations in order to bring together the community while helping out as much as possible. She founded The Social Bunch as a way for women to have fun while supporting local needs.

Last month, Our Social Bunch held an event on April 20th at the Pier 6 rooftop in Pompano. The event was titled Beachy Girl’s Night Out. All women wore tropical outfits, and this fun soiree was in partnership with a non-profit organization called Children’s Aid Club. Women socialized while accepting donations of diapers and baby wipes in order to help the Children’s Aid Club.

Our Social Bunch has proudly partnered with charitable causes such as My Safe Harbour, Women in Distress, Jacob’s Shoes, and more. On Monday, May 16th, they will host an event called a Wild Night in Rio, which will be in partnership with Mary Ann’s Foster Closet.

A Wild Night in Rio will be held on Monday, May 16th at the Sand’s Harbor Marina Resort. Everyone attending will bring bathing suits and swim shirts for foster children aged 1–12. Donations will go to Mary Ann’s Foster Closet. Foster children are in need of clothing, and will enjoy having swimwear they can enjoy!

This event will feature women-owned businesses and artisans, and there will be a special Brazilian menu. Music will be provided by Shane LeMar Entertainment. The first 50 ladies to sign in at 5:30 will receive a free Swag Bag full of delights! Swag Bags are sponsored by realtor Jessica Ann Merritt.
