Fall Festival – Margate Oct. 23, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sports Complex, 1695 Banks Road, Margate 33063.

Enjoy scarecrow building, pumpkin carving, line dancing, a petting zoo, hayrides, food vendors, and pony rides at the free Fall Festival in Margate.

Trunk and Treat – Fort Lauderdale Oct. 24, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Christ Church, 4845 NE 25 Ave., Fort Lauderdale Cars and trucks will be decorated, and candy will be given out to kids and families. Pumpkin Patch & Festival – Pompano Beach Oct. 29, 6 to 9 p.m. The St. Coleman’s Men’s Club at St. Coleman Catholic Church, 1200 S. Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach

A pumpkin patch open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pumpkins are on sale for $1 to $45 and hayrides are available. Email asr1840@gmail.com for more information.

Boo Bash: Creepy Carnival – Pompano Beach Oct. 29, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pompano Community Park, 1660 NE 10th St.

Pumpkin Patch – Boca Raton

Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch at Mizner Park Amphitheater, 590 Plaza Real

Halloween Boo Bash – Pompano Beach Oct. 31, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Pompano Beach Citi Center, 1955 N Federal Hwy Ste 201

This family friendly event is for little ghosts and goblins. There will be a magic show, Halloween crafts and giveaways. There will also be candy. Costume masks are allowed for small children only.

Big Red Bus Blood Drive Oct. 22, 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Broward Health Imperial Point, 6401 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale
