Enjoy scarecrow building, pumpkin carving, line dancing, a petting zoo, hayrides, food vendors, and pony rides at the free Fall Festival in Margate.

Trunk and Treat – Fort Lauderdale Oct. 24, 5 to 7:30 p.m. Christ Church, 4845 NE 25 Ave., Fort Lauderdale Cars and trucks will be decorated, and candy will be given out to kids and families. Pumpkin Patch & Festival – Pompano Beach Oct. 29, 6 to 9 p.m. The St. Coleman’s Men’s Club at St. Coleman Catholic Church, 1200 S. Federal Hwy., Pompano Beach

Boo Bash: Creepy Carnival – Pompano Beach Oct. 29, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Pompano Community Park, 1660 NE 10th St.

Pumpkin Patch – Boca Raton

This family friendly event is for little ghosts and goblins. There will be a magic show, Halloween crafts and giveaways. There will also be candy. Costume masks are allowed for small children only.
