District 4 — Kevin Eason Sr.

A Community Advocate and Manager Concerned About Pompano’s Future

Kevin Eason Sr. was born and raised in Pompano Beach, attending Markham Elementary and Northeast High School. He worked in management roles at Winn-Dixie and Publix for more than 45 years. His concerns for the community include mental illnesses, reverse mortgages, sober housing policing, and adult vocational education.

He has been married for 42 years and has three children and four grandchildren. He is also an assistant pastor, facilities committee member for Blanche Ely High School, and board member of the newly elected Westview Cemetary Board, where he is fighting to keep the city’s traditionally Black cemetery out of the hands of developers.

Easor Sr. said in a campaign flyer that he’s “humble enough to serve, strong enough to protect, and wants to develop our city house by house, street by street, business by business.”
