Andrea Leigh McGee is a Pompano Beach native who has seen Pompano Beach’s growth firsthand. She graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Communications, specializing in Motion Picture Production and Political Science. McGee moved to Los Angeles after college and worked in the film and television industry before moving to Washington D.C. to work in commercial real estate acquisitions. She ran for the United States House of Representatives in South Florida twice, and currently works as a Broker for her firm, McGee Real Estate, LLC.
She believes in smart growth, creating quality housing, job opportunities, entertainment, and cultural options. She says she meets with each developer and resident to ensure each development project is a good fit for the city.
