New Millage Rate, Taxes to Go Up

The Pompano Beach City Commission approved a tax millage rate of 5.770 which represents 11.11% increase in property taxes. This is due mostly because of an increase of the city’s taxable property in 2022. The millage rate represents a 5.27 rate for the general fund and .5 for the Pompano Beach Emergency Medical Services District.
