As we honor Black History Month, here are some events for you to check out in the Pompano Beach area! These events celebrate African-American culture and are educational, fun, and a perfect way to celebrate Black History Month. Be sure to mark your calendars!

African American Women Changemakers Exhibition

This exhibition features photographs of African-American women who contributed excellence to their communities. The beautiful portraits give historical insight into important African-American women activists, educators, creative artists and so much more. Blazin the Block Pop-up Shop Black History Month Edition!

Pompano Beach Pioneers’ Ball

Sixty Years of Black Art

The art exhibit runs from February 1st, 2022 to February 28th, 2022

This exhibition will feature works by Dillard Center for the Arts’ Advanced Placement students. Art will be available for show and sale. The exhibition is curated by Celestin Joseph.
